Mark Sherman

​

Mark Sherman is a graduate, with distinction of The George Washington University and his earned his law degree in 1983 form the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

 

He is a member in good standing of The Israel Bar Association and served for over twenty years on the Bar Association's Disciplinary Tribunal.

 

Mark’s legal practice focuses in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, real estate, wills and estate planning, and inheritance and probate law. Working with Forensic Genealogists, he also has developed a special expertise in locating and registering “forgotten” property (property purchased during the time of the British Mandate in Palestine), and previously unknown to the legal heirs.  Mark is also a certified Israeli notary. 

 

Mark has been active in volunteer activities for many years, specifically with ALYN Hospital, Pediatric and Adolescent Rehabilitation Center in Jerusalem. Alyn is one of the world's leading specialists in pediatric rehabilitation and the only facility of its kind in Israel.  Mark has served as a member of the hospital’s Board of Directors for more than a decade and for the past 5 years as Chairman of the Friends of Alyn Association. http://www.alyn.org/

Mark is also a volunteer diver in the new Israel Aquarium in Jerusalem.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Mark has lived in Jerusalem for over 40 years.  He is married and the proud father of four children and four grandchildren (so far)!
